Lake Como Art vs. Fashion: Rose Circle

The Como Cathedral, located in Como, Lombardy, Italy, was a cathedral built in dedication to Santa Maria Maggiore dated from the late 14th century under the construction of Lorenzo delgi Spazzi di Laino. The Gothic style cathedral can be used as inspiration to many designers, but one thing I found to be inspirational is the rose circle that can be found in many lines and collections. Such as Rocco Barocco Fall/Winter 2011 collection featuring a rose circle in his jewelry line. But not only does it take the shape it also take on the goth look that the cathedral presents.
